Welcome to the Mountain View Middle School Band program web site. The Mountain View's Band Program has an excellent reputation for quality musicianship. Students who continue playing throughout their time here have the opportunity to become part of the best music programs in Oregon - Mountain View and Aloha High School Band. I look forward to your participation in one of the most energetic and exciting activities at Mountain View Middle School. Each new and returning student has the opportunity to become an important member of a fine music program and it is up to each individual, including me, to maintain this tradition and climb to even greater heights.

Next Band Booster Meeting Moved!
The Band Booster meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 17th, has been moved to Tuesday, January 31st at 7pm. This is a very important meeting as it will be the last meeting before the play-a-thon. Some things that will be discussed including:- Food - Done
- Papers - Done
- Supply Needs - Needs Attention
- Volunteers - Have a person to set schedule, but need volunteers
- Custodial Needs - Needs Attention...It's all us this year, no custodian

Show your support of the Band!
Wear an Official Mt. View MS Band T-Shirt or Sweatshirt!
The Band T-Shirts and Sweatshirts are a great way for students and parents to show how proud they are to be part of a great music program that they have helped to build. Each year, the shirts and the hooded sweatshirts have a newly designed Mountain View Middle School Band screen print. All items are adult sizes, 100% cotton, pre-shrunk, and the sweatshirts run a little large. Items are for sale in the hallway at events such as concerts and the Play-A-Thon.
ATTENTION 8th Grade Parents! We encourage your student to continue their music education by participating in the Aloha High School Band Program. Now would be a good time to get familiar with the AHS music program and sign up to be on the email list. Please visit the AHS Band website www.ahsband.org for more information.
